September 27, 2016 : At least 14 people including driver have been ki*led in a bus acci*etn in the remote Marpak VDC in the district on Tuesday monring. According to the driver of another bus plying the same route, Jiban Rana Magar, 14 peole were killed in the bus acc*ent after the bus fell down into the bank of a rivulet. Ten are males and four females among those killed in the bus mishap. The ill-fated bus, Na 4 Kha 3318, heading for Kimtang VDC from district headquarters Dahadingbesi met with an accid*nt at Napang in Marpak VDC – 6 this morning. Some 31 people were traveling in the bus. SP Sarad Kumar Khatri confirmed about the acc*dent.
